My Traditional Name Is Kuuyux (Phonetically-Koo Yaax).
I Was Given That Name By The Last Kuuyux Left Alive Amongst My People, The Unungan Who Have Lived In The Bering Sea For Over 10,000 Years And We Are Still There.
Kuuyux means an arm extended out of the body, a carrier of ancient knowledge, a messenger.
I have lived the legacy of this name for over fifty years.
